Actors Nam Sang-mi and Jo Hyun-jae, along with Kim Jae-won, have been confirmed on May 23 to play the main characters in the upcoming SBS mystery drama called About Her, which centers on a woman who loses her memory after undergoing a surgery to reconstruct her face. The series will revolve around the strange things she will encounter as she tries to remember what she has forgotten.
Actress Nam Sang-mi will be playing the woman, named Ji Eun-han.
About Her will become her first drama this year, following her appearance as the female lead in 2017’s Chief Kim. Some of her previous projects also include Gunman in Joseon, Goddess of Marriage, and Light & Shadows. Meanwhile, Jo Hyun-jae will be playing as Ji Eun-han’s husband, Kang Chan-ki, who is an elite chaebol and a famous anchor at broadcasting station KBC. This role marks the actor’s return to the small screen after more than two years, following his appearance in Yong-pal. His latest appearance in a TV drama is in Hospital Ship for which he made a cameo. As for Kim Jae-won, he will be taking on the role of Hang Kang-woo, the plastic surgeon who is in charge of Ji Eun-han’s surgery. His character will form a love triangle with her and her husband. The actor’s most recent TV projects include Father, I’ll Take Care of You and Splendid Politics. About Her will be broadcast every Saturday beginning this July, replacing Secret Mother.
