Park Ho-san in talks to join cast of ‘Penthouse 2’

Actor Park Ho-san (Hush) might join SBS’s drama Penthouse 2. An official from Lighthouse Entertainment, Park’s agency, told the media on March 15 that, “Park Ho-san received an offer to appear in Penthouse 2. He is reviewing the proposal positively.” Penthouse 2 is the continuation of the story of Penthouse, where elite families fight for power and dominance inside a 100-floor luxury penthouse. It stars Eugene (All About My Mom), Kim So-yeon (Mother of Mine), and Uhm Ki-joon (Heart Surgeons).

If the actor accepts the offer, Park Ho-san will play Yoo Dong-pil, the husband of Kang Ma-ri (played by Shin Eun-kyung, The Last Empress) and the father of Yoo Jenny (played by Jin Ji-hee, 100 Days My Prince). Dong-pil has not appeared in the drama yet but was described as a person who has been in prison for some transactions he made with Joo Dan-tae (Uhm Ki-joon). Previously in Penthouse 2, a conflict occurred between Ma-ri and Dan-tae, thus, the spotlight is now being prepared for the potential appearance of Dong-pil, who will be avenging his family. At first, there were reports that actor Heo Sung-tae (Beyond Evil) will play the role of Yoo-pil, but the actor corrected the news, saying, “I [did] not even receive an offer.”
